6 Celebrites Who Got Locked Up For Crazy Crimes

Sometimes celebrities commit crazy crimes and get themselves thrown in jail. Here's a short list of some celebrities who are in jail and what they're locked up for. Some celebrities are small time and others are much bigger. Whatever you do, don't get any stupid ideas folks, you don't want to be tossed in the slammer like these celebrities who commit completely stupid and crazy crimes.

Joe Guidice

The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Joe Giudice was sent to prison for tax fraud, leaving behind his wife Teresa and four kids. He seemed down but at ok with the situation, and he's getting through the 41-month sentence by keeping himself occupied.

A source told sources that Guidice is working at the gym in Fort Dix, New Jersey's Federal Correctional Institution. This seems like an improvement, since another source told the outlet in September that he spent most of his time by himself.

He has already worked out there a great deal before taking the position, which pays roughly about $100 a month. Teresa Guidice told a journalsit that one consolation in his sentence is the improvement she's seen in his fitness. Apparently Joe has lost over 30 pounds since he ended up in the big house.

Perhaps she's able to stay so calm about the situation because she's been through it herself. She served 11 months for tax fraud in 2015.

Jared Fogle

Who can forget about this disgusting pedo who formerly represented one of American's largest food chains, Subway.

Once the famous face of the Subway franchise, was sentenced on Thursday to 15 years and 8 months (188 months total) in prison after pleading guilty to possession and distribution of child pornography and traveling across state lines to engage in commercial sex actors with a minor. He won't be eligible for parole for 13 years.

Bobby Shmurda

Bobby Shmurda is one gangster rapper that, unfortunately, was keeping it real when he allegedly conspired to commit murder and got sent to the clink.

Shmurda signed a deal with Epic Records after his track "Hot Nigga" peaked at number 6 on the US Billboard Hot 100.

On December 17, 2014, New York City Police arrested Shmurda, where he was charged with conspiracy to commit murder, weapons possession and reckless endangerment. In 2016, he pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to prison for seven years, which was reduced to five due to credit for the two years served awaiting trial counting towards the sentence.

OJ Simpson

Sometimes, karma is a beatch.  Karma may have finally caught up with our (favorite?) killer celebrity.

O.J. Simpson was sentenced Friday to up to 33 years in prison for armed robbery and kidnapping in a failed attempt to recover sports memorabilia from two collectibles dealers.

Hey man! Your memorabilia was sold to someone, that does not make it yours!

Simpson will be eligible for parole after nine years.

His co-defendant Clarence "C.J." Stewart was sentenced to at least 15 years behind bars.

Suge Knight

The former hip-hop music mogul Marion “Suge” Knight has been charged with murder and attempted murder after he struck two men with his pickup truck.

Prosecutors allege that Knight intended to run down a friend and another man after an argument on a movie set. One of the men was killed.

Knight’s attorney has said Knight ran over them accidently as he tried to escape a brutal attack. Knight subsequently turned himself in to police.

Knight’s initial bail of $2m was revoked after a court commissioner agreed with authorities that he was a potential flight risk and could intimidate witnesses.  His murder trial, amongst a few other charges, is slated to begin in January, 2018.

Shelley Malil

Shelley Malil, an actor best known for his role alongside Steve Carell in "The 40-Year-Old Virgin," has been sentenced to life in prison for the attempted murder of his girlfriend.

A San Diego County Superior Court judge sentenced Malil, three months after a jury convicted the actor of attempted premeditated murder and assault with a deadly weapon.

I want to do whatever I need to do to make sure I make right from the wrong that I did; Kendra Beebe did not deserve anything that happened to her. I can't even begin to imagine what she has been through.

His ex-girlfriend, Kendra Beebe, survived the 2008 attack, but suffered punctured lungs and wounds to her neck, chest, back and arms. Malil stabbed her 20 times after he stopped by her home and found her drinking wine with another man.

In court Friday, Malil, 45, expressed regret for his crime and said he wants to be sent to prison.
