A former model has spoken out about an incident from 2006 where Al Franken is accused of groping her while she was sleeping. The smug faced democrat pulled the "sleep creep" on now 44-year-old Leeann Tweeden and she's not being silent any longer. Even better - she has proof in the form of a photograph that shows Franken groping her breasts while she's passed out. There's also an incident that involves a forceful kiss that's sure to make you dry heave.
Leeann Tweeden wrote a story about what happened to her in 2006 when she experienced Al Franken and his ultimate creepiness - according to the story. This dates back to when Al Franken was a comedian, many days before he became a Senator. The creepy incident took place while Tweeden was on a USO trip to perform for military personnel who were away from home. The trip included some Cowboys cheerleaders, herself, Al Franken, and a few country music artists.
Franken allegedly wrote a small script that included Tweeden. She thought she was just there to emcee the event, but Franken apparently wanted a little extra. The script included a part where Tweeden and Franken kiss. It obviously sounds like a clear setup for him to get some tongue action, as there was clearly no need for them to kiss on a show like this.
Tweeden suggests that Franken persistently tried to "practice" the kiss scene. Smooth move if you're a college student, but very "yuck" if you're an adult comedian. This is where she claims it gets very disgusting. She claims he kept pestering about practicing the kiss and she was uncomfortable.
Then they practiced the lines up to the kiss and Franken struck his move by grabbing the back of her head, smashing his lips on hers, and thrashing his nasty old tongue in her mouth.
"then he came at me, put his hand on the back of my head, mashed his lips against mine and aggressively stuck his tongue in my mouth.
I immediately pushed him away with both of my hands against his chest and told him if he ever did that to me again I wouldn’t be so nice about it the next time."
She then talks about rushing to the nearest place to rinse her mouth out, feeling violated and disgusting, and absolutely disliking everything that happened. She tells how she avoids him, turned her face away from him during the scene, and was overall disgusted at the existence of Al Franken.
She was met with minor backlash from Franken. He drew horns on her picture and possibly made some backhanded comments, but that's minor in comparison. Some people do that for fun and banter, especially comedians who consistently break each other's stones.
Leeann claimed she didn't say much about it at the time because of where they were. They were in the middle of the warzone of Afghanistan providing comedic relief and it wasn't exactly the time or place to cause a scene over a sloppy forced kiss. That can wait until they get home and back to American soil where they can safely battle over it.
But then it gets worse. Leeann Tweeden is flying home on a flight back to America and Al Franken strikes again. As if being in Afghanistan wasn't scary enough, she was on a plane with Mr. Groper the Sleep Creep. Al Franken saw her sleeping in a chair and casually gripped her breasts while smiling and someone else took a picture of it.
"I couldn’t believe it. He groped me, without my consent, while I was asleep.
I felt violated all over again. Embarrassed. Belittled. Humiliated.
How dare anyone grab my breasts like this and think it’s funny?"
This may have been funny if he wasn't trying so hard to be nasty with the kiss. But the fact that he wrote a kiss scene for an emcee, just so he could get some action, is rather nasty. That's what the kids in grade school do when they're trying to get their first kiss from a girl during a school play. Except they are like 12 years old and getting an innocent kiss.
The kiss described by Tweeden, if it truly happened that way, sounds very rapey.
Then to touch her while she's sleeping is nasty.
She didn't say much about it years ago because she was just beginning her career as a broadcaster. That proves exactly why the Hollywood celebrities didn't say anything about Harvey Weinstein. Those women cared more about their career than anything. Nothing wrong with that, but they can't come out of their closet 20 years later and act like Harvey was the only one wrong. They were wrong too for staying silent.
Unlike most of the sexual assault accusations from years ago, this one has photographic evidence. Leeann Tweeden has a real picture of her getting groped in her sleep by Al Franken. The picture of Al Franken grabbing her breasts speaks volumes of him. She waited until she was comfortable in her career to say something about it, but at least she has a bit of evidence to back up her accusations. Leeann Tweeden has much more than any Hollywood celebrity calling people out for similar accusations.
Al Franken must've been upset that the former model didn't like him.
Why would she?
