Black Lives Matter Co-Founder buys home for $1.4 million in mostly white neighborhood

I wonder where she got the money for this! A co-founder of Black Lives Matter has purchased a home that costs $1.4 million in the Topanga Canyon Compound development located in California. Many commenters on the article and several other sources have stated this is a mostly white section of California, somewhat secluded, and even Conservative politically.

Her name is Patrisse Khan-Cullors and she also used a white woman as her real estate agent.

This was all revealed on a website named Dirt who reported the details of the purchase - meaning who bought it, where it's at, who the real estate agent was, and provided photos of the home.

A secluded mini-compound tucked into L.A.’s rustic and semi-remote Topanga Canyon was recently sold for a tad more than $1.4 million to a corporate entity that public records show is controlled by Patrisse Khan-Cullors, 37-year-old social justice visionary and co-founder of the galvanizing and, for some, controversial Black Lives Matter movement.

Kahn-Cullors, a UCLA and USC graduate married about five years ago to social activist (and amateur boxer) Janaya Khan, co-founder of Black Lives Matter Toronto, created the #BlackLivesMatter hashtag in 2013 in response to George Zimmerman’s acquittal in the 2012 shooting of Trayvon Martin. Since then, the largely decentralized movement has been at the influential forefront on issues of police brutality and racially motivated violence against Black people, particularly in the wake of George Floyd’s killing last summer that sparked massive protests across the United States and around the globe. Kahn-Cullors’ published “When They Call You a Terrorist: A Black Lives Matter Memoir” in 2018.

This is causing quite the stir among Black Lives Matter supporters who might have thought she should move to a community that shows her support for the movement, and to also use a black real estate agent.

Some people are also questioning where she gets the money for this if the Black Lives Matter movement is meant to support the people. How does she make money and how did she buy a home that costs over a million? Is there any transparency on where she earns and if there's any chance she used donation money to cover her own salary or expensive home purchase?

Looks like Black Lives Matter is taking a hit from Mike Brown's father too!

So did she buy this home with money raised on the back of people she claims to support?
