Black Lives Matter or No Lives Matter?
A Black Lives Matter activist, 33-year-old Charles Wade, was arrested for allegedly human trafficking and forcing a 17-year-old girl into prostitution. He posted ads online promoting her as a "fun and sexy" teen and he stole the money that was supposed to go to his victim for performing lewd acts on customers.
According to the police report, an undercover officer responded to Wade?s ad on classified site backpage.com. ?Holla at me. Quick stay specials tonight and tomorrow. Independent. Fun and sexy. Text me to set up an appointment???????? the ad read, listing the poster?s age as 23. Through text message, the cop said he was looking for half an hour, and the prostitute wrote back ?100 love.?
Undercover police saw the ad and responded to it, went to their location at a hotel. They knocked on the door and the 17-year-old girl opened the door in a towel. The man slipped her $100 and she dropped the towel. That's when the police identified themselves and the girl ran. She was caught outside the hotel room by other agents. That's when she admitted that her "manager" set up the date. Upon being arrested, Charles Wade claims the girl said she was 20 and that he was also helping her. I don't know how much help it is when you're hiring her out to desperate guys seeking cheap thrills and blowing out her innards. I don't think that's really helping her at all, but rather ruining her life and making her feel worthless. To top it off, he was stealing the money that SHE earned. She may have sunk so low in her life that she has no confidence to face the real world and accomplish something legitimate with herself. She's young and has a full life ahead and I hope she cleans herself up. Charles Wade, on the other hand, clearly does not think any lives matter but his own. How can he be in Black Lives Matter and treat people like this? It makes him look like no lives matter and casts a bad view over the entire #BLM movement. Well, rioting in Ferguson kinda ruined their reputation already, and this certainly doesn't help Black Lives Matter look like a good organization. He posted this statement on his Twitter account: Charles Wade has a court date set on June 3, 2016, and we will probably hear about his sickening incident with underage human trafficking all over the news this weekend. Is there anything that Black Lives Matter does for a positive outcome? I don't think underage human trafficking and prostitution or looting are in the "this is great" category. Just my hunch, but I could be wrong. Al Sharpton will likely remain silent. He's pretty much illiterate anyway. Whenever he speaks it sounds like a LEGAL prostitute talking with a mouth full of golf balls. Chris Hansen was not present, but I really wish he was there to tell Charles Wade to "have a seat."
