Something occurred to me last night that I believe is relevant to this whole Border Issue. We in life have borders or boundaries that are relevant everyday. Morals, for instance, are boundaries. Respecting the likes and dislikes of those around us are boundaries. No meaning no is a boundary. Morally speaking a boundary is a limit of a subject or sphere of activity, Physically or geographically it is a line that marks the limits of an area; a dividing line. Is it any wonder that millennial's, liberals in general seek to blur this subject? I mean how one can say that No means no in the case of sexual advancement and yet demands open borders geographically is somewhat perplexing. The fact is societies are only as good or bad as their boundaries. When a woman says no to a man and he advances anyhow and takes what he wants it is called rape. Wouldn't the unwanted advance on our geographical borders be the same? Yet some now claim that it is the "Christian" thing to do to allow people to come here and stay Illegally. Just when was it that the left decided that it was a good thing to govern based on certain bible passages they suddenly have found? Would they want to be governed by all or any scripture? We all know that taking the life of another person is a boundary that most will never cross but some do. Should we just allow that boundary to be crossed unpunished? How about rape or theft? There is also the issue of why we have doors and locks on our homes. Why we have boundary lines on our property. Do we lock our Vehicles or do we just leave our valuables in them unprotected with the keys in the ignition especially in a bad neighborhood? I believe we need to make reasoned attempts to turn the light on for these individuals to show them that, in essence what they are doing is justifying the total disregard for all boundaries, and that we cannot have moral or physical barriers without the other. Just a thought.......
