Boy Who Slammed Grandmom at Pool Party Gets Karma from Judge
A while back there was a video of a grand mother getting viciously slammed to the ground, then violently dragged into a pool. It would've been a harmless prank had the woman, Nancy James, 68, not been thrashed onto the ground so hard by a then 16-year-old boy. She was then ditched in the pool like a throwback fish - all after having a heart and hip medical procedure. If you saw that video, then you know it sure looked like a painful situation to be in for that older woman. The people at the party probably called it "lit" and got so many "likes" on the video. However, it's now time for the boy, Leon Balfour Joseph, to meet the judge Elijah Williams, the man responsible for the next few years of the boy's life.
The grand mother just wanted the kids to turn their music down, but the answer was a hard pressed "no" which she learned on her way down to the pavement. James called the attack inhumane, but also gave the boy some words of encouragement that should hopefully make the boy think twice next time he grabs a much older woman.
When she was in court with the boy, she stated “What he did was a very cruel thing. Very cruel. Very inhumane. You have so much ahead of you. You're a young kid. You've got college. You got hopes. You got dreams, and you know what, unfortunately, this will follow you, forever.”
The judge agreed and gave the boy 200 hours of community service.
