NY Daily News - Nash, a career criminal with a history of mental health issues and addiction, was caught on surveillance tape trying to rape Nenegale Diallo in her Bronx apartment May 30. She called her cab driver husband after fighting off Nash, and Diallo arrived with the tire iron in hand to rescue her. Security footage showed Diallo whaling away at Nash and chasing him into an elevator. Nenegale Diallo said she wanted to ?say thank you to everyone? as she emerged Wednesday from the Bronx courthouse with her husband. ?I think they did the right thing because he was defending me, that's what a husband does,? she beamed. Her somber spouse didn?t say much as the couple waded through a throng of reporters. ?I?m happy for the American justice, and it?s the best way in the world, that?s what I say,? he said. You have to give respect to any man who defends his woman. This guy showed up with a tire iron and laid the business end of it into Earl Nash enough to make him bleed and run into an elevator where he eventually passed away. Let's make sure everyone realizes that the justice system worked this time, but unfortunately it didn't work for Brock Turner. Brock Turner, the Stanford boy who tried raping a girl behind a dumpster, was just released from prison several months early. He was only given a six month sentence and the justice system didn't make him finish the entire sentence. The public fumes with aggravation. People protested at his home and threatened to shoot him if he ever attempted rape again. He also registered as a sex offender in Ohio. Dumpster boy should not be out of prison this early. He needs a few rough shower sessions to remind him what rape feels like and why it's NOT OK to do to others.
All charges dropped for the Bronx cab driver, Mamadou Diallo, who protected his wife by beating her attempted rapist to death. The crowd in the courtroom cheered as justice was rightfully awesome in letting this man walk free. He did what any amazing husband would do and protected his woman. I congratulate Mr. Diallo on his victory and his courage to stop a disgusting criminal from ever hurting another woman. The criminal's family also wrote an encouraging letter that Mamadou Diallo shouldn't spend time in prison for the sick crime of another man. That man's name is Earl Nash and he tried to rape Nenegale Diallo. That was the last crime he'll ever commit. I feel terrible for the family of Earl Nash, because losing a family member is tragic and difficult, but I am thankful that they supported the correct person in this horrendous event. It was an all around terrible situation to be in.
