Chelsea Clinton shames Trump over Secret Service officers facing quarantine

Chelsea Clinton is throwing heaps of criticism trash towards President Donald Trump and blaming him for the 130+ Secret Service officers who face quarantine because they tested positive for COVID-19, or had contact with someone who might have had it.

The younger Clinton said, "Shame on you, ?@realDonaldTrump and your family. You put those sworn to protect you at risk with your reckless, dangerous choices. Hope every Secret Service agent and their family members receive the same care you did if they get sick from #covid19"

She did make a good point though - every single Secret Service officer better have the same darn health benefits that the president has. If their job is to protect the president, then he can protect them as well. If their coverage doesn't give them the same treatment options as the president, then they should have a problem with that. Wouldn't you?

Chelsea Clinton posted a link to the Washington Post, but I didn't feel like registering just to get a quote and a link from them. So here's a snippet from Business Insider who talks about the 130+ Secret Service agents affected:

More than 130 Secret Service officers assigned to the White House and President Donald Trump's travels have recently tested positive for COVID-19 or are quarantining because they might have been exposed to the virus, The Washington Post reported on Friday, citing three people familiar with agency staffing.

The sources told The Post that the outbreak might be connected to the president's campaign stops before Election Day. Trump traveled to several states to hold rallies, where many people did not take measures to help curb virus transmission, such as wearing masks and social distancing.

"Being down more than 100 officers is very problematic," a former senior Secret Service supervisor told the newspaper. "That does not bode well for White House security."

The number represents about 10% of the 1,300 Secret Service officers who work for the White House and the vice president's residence and provide security during presidential trips and official events, The Post reported.

And ironically, their quote mentions The Washington Post too, but at least I didn't have to register just to read something.
