Sarah Semrad posted a mean tweet about her feelings for white men. There was no beating around the bush and she was very straight-forward. Her Tweet stated, "I f*cking hate white men." The Democrat chair of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse faced backlash and has resigned from her position. Campus Reform reports that she tried to delete her social media accounts but it was too late because people already had a screenshot. Someone always has a screenshot. The backlash is the likely reason she resigned from being a Democrat leader at her college.

Semrad later issued an apology that was published on The Washington Times website. The apology for her white male bashing Tweet is weak, at best. She may have been better off claiming to severely dislike all men and put the emphasis on the white guys.
Semrad was also reported to Tweet about tearing down Christian pregnancy resource fliers, an incident she also addresses in her apology. Here are bits of her apology.
“In a moment of impulsivity and immaturity, I posted the tweet about white males as an expression of frustration towards my male friend who wouldn’t ask for directions,” she wrote in an email to the Tribune. “My tweet about posters described my actions after I saw and removed one poster that was hanging on campus that had not received proper university approval for on-campus posting.
Blah, blah, blah. Whatever she says. I don't think anyone cares.
“I recognize that my words were neither humorous nor harmless, and sincerely apologize to all who have been hurt, offended or embarrassed by them,” she said. “My commitment to social justice remains steadfast and will not be deterred by these events, and I vow to use the maturity and sensitivity that would reflect that going forward.”
I thought it was funny. Stupid, but funny. I'm 99.9% sure that no white men were injured from the Tweet, nor had their feelings hurt.
