One customer left a massive tip for staffers at an Ohio restaurant this week, right before the business was to close due to the coronavirus.
The customer's tip was $2,500 and had a note to split it equally between the staff members named in the bill.
This came right as the Ohio Governor, Mike DeWine, had ordered restaurants and bars to close and not allow any "dine-in" customers.
The restaurant where this massive tip happened is the Coaches Bar and Grill in Columbus, Ohio, and 10TV reported there were certainly some happy tears flowing that night; bittersweet indeed.
"(There were) tears, tears of joy," said owner Benny Leonard. "An unbelievable act of kindness on a pretty weird day."
Random acts of kindness put our faith back in humanity.
