David Hogg says Trump 'never actually came to Parkland'

Activist David Hogg posted on Twitter that President Trump did not visit Parkland after the shooting they endured. His message was posted in a reply to something Kellyanne Conway said, which was posted on The Hill's feed.

It went like this:

Kellyanne Conway: "you have seen this president on the ground with people, Parkland, Florida, Las Vegas, Nevada and certainly victims of natural disasters as well like the hurricanes. So he goes trying to help heal communities."

David Hogg: "He never actually came to Parkland"

After that, posts from Dan Scavino surfaced showing President Trump and Melania visiting the shooting victims in a Florida hospital and having a meeting as well.

Scavino's first post stated: "President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump visit with Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School student Madeline “Maddy” Wilford, 18, and her family, who is recovering from gunshot wounds at Broward Health North Medical Center in Deerfield Beach, Florida."

Scavino's second post said: "After President Trump and First Lady Melania visited with victims, families and the incredible medical teams at Broward Health North - they headed to thank the amazing law enforcement officers at the @BrowardSheriff’s Department, where a roundtable is now underway."

The technicality? If President Trump was not in Parkland specifically, then David Hogg is correct. However, Hogg's Tweet makes it seem like Trump didn't visit anyone, which is also slightly misleading coming from Hogg.

So while Trump may not have stepped foot in Parkland itself, Trump did visit Parkland shooting victims and go to meetings to help.

Here are the tweets.
