Dem candidate cancels event after only 2 people show up

A Democratic presidential candidate had canceled an event after learning that there was basically no audience. Once he found out that only two people showed up, he canceled the event, as reported by CNN's Annie Grayer.

Grayer posted this on social media, "Governor @DevalPatrick was supposed to have an event at Morehouse College tonight. An organizer with the college who planned the event told CNN that Patrick cancelled the event when he arrived and learned that he would not have an audience. (Note, two people came, not pictured)"

It should be noted that this happened back on November 20 and it was during a Democrat debate, something many people questioned as to why in the world he would try to hold an event during an actual debate. If you didn't hear about it weeks ago, then don't worry - neither did I! That's because Patrick is not really that popular and not too many people were sharing info about his failed event.

Why do people with no shot of winning the election run for president in the first place? Is it for exposure and to take donations from people? Sounds rather shady if you ask me. But I know, I know - no one is asking me.
