Looks like Disney is going woke and adding a disclaimer to some old movies to warn people about "racist stereotypes." In other words, they will tell people that their own movie contains possible racism and remind or teach people of it ahead of time.
So imagine being a non-racist ten-year-old who's popping on a movie for fun and see this disclaimer and actually read it. Now the kid is probably thinking, "what the heck was that all about" and "what in the world is a racist stereotype" instead of just watching a movie and enjoying it or not.
Now Disney possibly turns that fun enjoyable kids moment into a question about what the heck this racist warning is and now the parents need to sit down and tell the kid that today's society is full of weak-minded social justice warriors who are offended by everything, and not to worry because it's just a disclaimer and watching the movie is still OK to do and not to cry because you're not actually a racist for watching it.

CBS News reported that several of the movies on Disney+ streaming app will have the warning:
"This program includes negative depictions and/or mistreatment of people or cultures. These stereotypes were wrong then and are wrong now. Rather than remove this content, we want to acknowledge its harmful impact, learn from it and spark conversation to create a more inclusive future together."
According to the report, Disney claims this is part of an "ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion." They want to "spark conversation and open dialogue on history that affects us all" instead of removing the "offensive" content.

Or they could just leave it alone and tell people to shut up about movies made 20+ years ago.
CBS report continued:
The movies that will now start with the disclaimer include "Aristocats," which features racist caricatures of East Asian peoples; "Dumbo," in which the crow characters perform a musical number in the style of racist minstrel shows; "Peter Pan," for its stereotypical portrayal of Native peoples; and "Swiss Family Robinson," in which pirates are portrayed as a stereotypical foreign menace, many in "yellow face" or "brown face."

In addition to those older films, it's also included at the start of "Aladdin," the animated blockbuster from 1992.
Ohhhhh shut up already. This is so pointless and kids watching this don't even care about any of that nonsense. What's next, are they going to ban Elsa from Frozen because she uses too much ice and that's not fair to people who don't have cheap and easy access to ice?
Meanwhile, there is violence in so many Disney movies, but they want to worry about some old fashioned stereotypes that THEY put in their own movies from HOW MANY YEARS AGO?
Not everything needs to be an SJW politically motivated lesson. Just leave the old stuff alone and focus on what's new. COME ON, MAN! Leave it alone!
And let me just say one thing - I have Disney+ and I will not cancel it because boycotts are for liberals. However, if my kid ever asks, I'm going to say "who cares, just enjoy the movie."
