If you are like me, then you probably already have more than enough reasons to love Drake. And, why not? But just in case you need one or two — or maybe a million — more, then get ready. Drake donated the entire budget for his “God’s Plan” music video. All $996,631.90 of it. And our hearts are bursting!
In the video for “God’s Plan,” released Friday, the rapper gives away almost $1 million to the Miami community, with the introduction announcing, “The budget for this video was $996,631.90. We gave it all away. Don’t tell the label…”
Throughout the video, Drake can be seen giving out a $50,000 scholarship to a University of Miami student, $50,000 to a women’s shelter, $50,000 to a youth center, $25,000 to after-school programs, $20,000 to the Miami Fire Department, and $10,000 to UM’s school of music. In addition to the significant donations, he also donates new cars to Miami families and hands out stacks of cash to a few mothers and their children, telling them, “we’re nothing without our mothers, so thank you.”sponsor
The rapper even walks into a grocery store and announces, “anything you guys want in the store is free, you can have whatever you guys want,” as customers fill up their carts, and took kids on a mall shopping spree.
The day before the video was released, Drake posted a photo of the project's clapboard that read, "God's Plan." His caption set sky-high expectations for the video, calling it "The most important thing I have ever done in my career."
The song is a bop and a feel-good track that majorly focuses on Drake's future. Being who he is in the industry, people want him to fail; however, God won't let him do that.

Another key subject of the song is the separation Drake feels that he needs to have from those outside of his inner circle. Anyone who tries to work their way into his life must have an ulterior motive to benefit themselves.
Drake has already won hearts of millions with his work and we love his sweet acts of kindness. Keep up the good work, Drake! We love ya!
