Florida man arrested at Olive Garden after eating pasta belligerently


An intoxicated topless Florida man put on quite a show when as he was arrested at a Naples Olive Garden. He was sitting outside asking people for money and belligerently eating spaghetti with his hands. He was swearing and saying things as people walked in and out of the restaurant around 3:30 in the afternoon that day, according to a report by the Naples Police Department.

The cops received a call regarding a disturbance and that's exactly what they showed up to see!

The Miami Herald stated that "when cops arrived, they encountered a shirtless man sitting outside on a bench shoveling spaghetti into his mouth with his hands. The individual, identified as Ben Padgett, smelled like booze, the report said."

The man who called the cops, who's named Ronald Worst, told the police that Padgett had been sitting around outside and then he came inside and stirred up a scene. Worst told police that Padgett was screaming at him, threatening him by saying "I could beat your a--" and then asking if Worst had "male or female sex organs."

When the cops asked the topless drunken spaghetti eater what he was doing outside on the Olive Garden bench, he just kept "muttering obscenities" and that's when he was arrested for disorderly intoxication.

Things got worse for the drunken pasta lover.

He was given paper towels to clean off his face and placed in cuffs. But when he was in the back of the cop car, he started smashing his head on the metal cage. He started bleeding from the head and had to be treated at a hospital. He was also kicking his legs and wiggling his body around in a weird violent way.

Padgett went to the Naples Jail Center and was additionally charged with was also charged with "resisting an officer without violence and released on $2,000 bond" according to the Miami Herald.
