Florida teacher finds box in elementary school storage area labeled "Provisional Ballot Box" and reported finding it, but says she did not touch it.
Lakeisha Williams, a teacher in Florida who works at the Miramar Elementary School, reported finding a box that said "Provisional Ballot Box" on the front of it. She said she found it in a storage area at the elementary school she works at. Schools are often used as locations to vote. She found it two days after midterm elections ended, and it appears to have been left behind by the election workers.
“I went into the area that we use for storage and saw it in there,” she told The New York Post. She also stated that she did not touch the box or look inside of it. She told the school principal and they contacted a local state representative, according to the New York Post.
“I don’t know where it is now,” Williams said, noting that all provisional ballots needed to be received by county officials before 5 p.m. Thursday.

Votes in Florida are still being counted, as of 7:08 pm EST on November 8.
