Is this the Jimmy John's founder caught humping a dead shark?

A picture has emerged of a nude man grinning as he straddles a dead shark. It is rumored to be either Jimmy John Liautaud or Jim McElwain, who is a Florida Gators football coach, but both deny it being them. No one can figure out who is in the picture, but they have their suspicions.

McElwain sat next to his wife at a press conference and completely denied that was him in the photograph. After the denial from McElwain people on the internet were quick to then accuse the founder of sandwich chain Jimmy John’s, John Liautaud.

Liautaud is known to have once been an avid big game hunter, and has previously posed alongside dead elephants, rhinoceroses, and bears.
He has since disavowed the practice, telling the Chicago Tribune in 2015: 'I don't hunt big African game anymore.'

Liautaud is well known for being an avid big game hunter and had previously been photographed posing next to dead elephants, rhinoceroses, and bears. he claims that he does not hunt big African game anymore. His previous big game hunts could be why so many people have accused Liautaud of being the man who humped a dead shark.

Despite both of them denying it, it seems people on the Internet and social media are adamant that either one of them are guilty.

This has caused animal rights activists to feel frustrated and upset. British wildlife TV presenter Anneka Svenska posted on social media and asked if anyone knew who this man is, in hopes to gain information on who would be sick enough to be photographed in the buff while riding a dead shark.

The hunt for a man pictured nude and grinning while straddling a dead shark continues after several high-profile suspects disavowed involvement.

Jimmy John Liautaud and Florida Gators football coach Jim McElwain have both denied being the man in the shocking photo, which began circulating widely on Friday.

‘Who is this man?’ British wildlife TV presenter Anneka Svenska asked in a desperate plea for information on Twitter Friday.

Famed Florida coach McElwain emerged as an early suspect, mainly because his toothy grin looks suspiciously like that of the unknown subject in the photo.

‘I don’t know who it is, but it isn’t me,’ McElwain said as his wife sat beside him at a press conference on Tuesday, his tone turning somber.

Undeterred, internet sleuths quickly turned their attention to Liautaud, the founder of sandwich chain Jimmy John’s.

Florida Coach McElwain denies that is him pictured in the photo with the dead shark.

'Where is the humor in humiliating slaughtered animals?' Svenska wrote. 'Find him and ask him why he did this.'

It seems that animal rights activists want some truth so they can persecute the correct person. Maybe they also want an explanation as to why this happened and what they found so funny about their actions. I'll tell you what happened - it was guys doing guy stuff. Sometimes guys do something stupid that seems hilarious at the time, then realize later it was way overboard (no pun intended) and not very funny at all.

Or was it?

This wouldn't be so funny if another shark jumped on the boat and bit his leg off and took his little worm with it.
