Virginia Democrats face an uphill battle in the face of civilian resistance if they go through with any sort of gun confiscation laws. As recently reported, the VA Democrats were forced to fall back on some of their more radical gun law proposals when a NRA members flooded the VA Capitol building in protest.
Ralph Northam is facing massive amounts of pushback amid his cry for confiscation and the law proposals they're interested in pursuing.
But Jerry Falwell isn't having it. As reported on Western Journal, he was recently interviewed by Todd Starnes and said he could call for some sort of resistance in the form of "civil disobedience" if the Democrats in Virginia keep trying to push their radical laws on the people.
Here's what Falwell said, as reported by C. Douglas Golden:
“I’m pretty sure I’m going to call for civil disobedience if the Democrats go through with this,” Falwell said.
Falwell said he thought Democrats didn’t quite know what they were dealing with in terms of opposition to the push for gun confiscation.
“You don’t mess with people’s guns in this part of the state,” Falwell said.
“They [Democrats] don’t know what they’ve gotten into and they’re going to find out the hard way, I’m afraid.”
Right now it seems like the Democrats are stuck in a rut where the level of civilian push-back against their proposals is literally stopping them from going through with the more radical laws they wish to put forward.

The ironic part is watching people on the right side of politics show their level of resistance against government leaders. Resistance is something previously more seen by members of the left side of politics.
Now it seems like some of the tides are turning and people on both sides are resisting when they feel infringed upon.
However, the main difference is that Democrats are trying to push actual laws/proposals on people which many resisting find to be completely radical - and they're not having it.
On the left, it seems to be more about feelings, and facts don't care about your feelings.
