Kevin Hart suffers major back injury during car crash

Kevin Hart will have a reason to remember his Labor Day weekend forever, but unfortunately, not for good reasons. As TMZ first reported, the comedian had a horrific car accident on Mulholland Highway, located in Malibu, at 12.45am on Sunday.

Hart was in the passenger seat, while his friend Jared Black was behind the wheel of comedian's favorite car, 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. As police reports, Black lost control at one moment, and the vehicle ended up in the ditch. The impact was so strong that the car broke a wooden fence while the roof was destroyed. There was also a third passenger in the car, Rebecca Broxterman, but she wasn't injured in the accident.

The California Highway Patrol told the press that Hart felt good enough to head back to his nearby home where he sought medical attentional. Unfortunately, his injuries were severe enough that he had to be transported to the hospital. Doctors diagnosed both Hart and Black with significant back injuries, although they didn't go into details. Police report concludes that Black was not under the influence of alcohol or any other substance, so the crash is the results of dangerous driving.

Even though his Plymouth Barracuda was made almost 50 years ago, the comedian and actor got it this July, for his 40th birthday. As he told his followers on Instagram, this was his gift to himself. That was the time when he expressed his love for muscle cars that dominated the seventies. As the vehicle is severely damaged, it will take a lot of time and money to fix it, but there is no doubt that it will be done. Hopefully, the same could be said for Hart and his back injury.

At the moment, the star hasn't made any comments about the incident and his health. His team is keeping things quiet.
