Would you look at that! The guy leading the movement for anti-vaccinations just got himself some chicken pox and he's a 38-year-old man. I thought chickenpox were a thing of the past? Well, somehow this guy got them and since he's big on anti-vaxx, people can't stop laughing. Sure it's rude to make fun of someone who gets a bizarre skin issue like that, but when you're a guy ranting about not getting people vaccinated, then you get some medieval shit like that, then people are obviously going to pester you.
And did they ever!
Before I show you how they ripped on him, here's the facts thanks to Daily Mail:
A leading anti-vax figure and Italian politician was hospitalised with chickenpox earlier this week.
Massimiliano Fedriga, who is the president of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region and member of the right-wing Northern League party, revealed he was ill on Twitter.
He previously argued against the Lorenzin decree, which made vaccination compulsory for children before they could attend school, back in 2017.
At the time, he said that he had his own children vaccinated but believed it should not be forced on to people, reports La Vanguardia.
I haven't seen chickenpox since the 1980s when kids would stay home from school for a few days because their entire body looked like a teenage girls face covered in zits. Ever since they started vaccinating for chickenpox, it's become a non-issue. You just don't see it anymore.
Life works in mysterious ways and it's just ironic that this dude caught the pox. The funny thing is, he had his kids vaccinated. Is he trying to bang some hot anti-vax girl or something? Typical politician, just saying shit to make people like him.
Here's how social media reacted, mostly thanks to Barstool Sports who posted the story better than Daily Mail.
