Liberal Alumni says 'I am physically shaking' after learning VP Pence was invited to do commencement speech
Vice President Mike Pence was invited to be the commencement speaker for Taylor University this year, but not every student or alumni is having it. Pence is facing backlash by some of the current students and alumni of the tiny evangelical Christian school because they aren't happy about him being invited.
One alumni member went on record to say that the school "should be ashamed" and "I am physically shaking...I feel personally attacked." That opinion didn't matter because the school has not changed their mind and Mike Pence will still provide the commencement speech for this year's graduation.

Liberal students and alumni pushed back a little bit more, with 3,300 people signing a Change.org petition to get Pence uninvited, but that didn't matter either. The petition claimed that the "Trump-Pence Administration's policies" are "not consistent with the Christian ethic of love we hold dear."
Either way, this is the Vice President of the United States and he'll be at Taylor to deliver a commencement speech. Keep your eyes peeled for a handful of bitter liberal students and alumni who might do something irrational and immature.
