Man Arrested Near White House Wanted To Kill 'All White Police'

The secret Service at the White House arrested a Dallas man after he traveled to Washington DC to kill “all white police” at the residence. The Montgomery County, Md. Police sent a BOLO, aka “be on the lookout,” notice to The Secret Service for Michael Arega, of Dallas. It was reported he was going to Washington to kill all white police and thankfully he was arrested before carrying out his racially motivated hate crime.

Arega was spotted near Lafayette Park on the north side of Pennsylvania Ave across from the White House. Secret service uniformed officers arrested him and transported him to the Metro Police Department. He was charged with making felony threats. According to WJLA News 7 he was not armed at the time of his arrest.

President Trump is in Japan enduring his 13 day trek through Asia. The Secret Service did a great job today protecting the citizens of Washington D.C. The Montgomery County Police were instrumental in providing information that lead to the arrest of Arega. We need to be thankful that local and federal agencies are working together. A break down in communications could have been disastrous for staff members of the White House or other government offices and agencies.

This is not the behavior our country needs the day after a lone gunman committed the most deadly attack in a house of worship in the history of the country.
