Man rips sunroof off car, attacks parking enforcement officer in Seattle

A shocking video was shared to the news showing a 28-year-old man ripping a sunroof off a car and attacking a 51-year-old parking enforcement officer with it in Seattle. As reported by Vanessa Misciagna of King5, "the incident happened just after 5:30 p.m. Thursday in stand-still rush hour traffic at 2nd Avenue and Spring Street. Matt Reynolds, who sent KING 5 the video, said he started recording after the man jumped on his car, damaging it."

Reynolds stated that the man was running on top of at least two cars, then jumping on the hood of his car and crashed into his windshield, then onto another car like he was on some sort of bizarre mission.

When the parking enforcement officer was attacked, it took the help of several others to fend off the attacker and pin him down. King5 reported it took about 45 minutes to get the suspect controlled.
The officer went to a local hospital to get checked out and came out stable.
Although it's impressive, the act of ripping a sunroof off a car comes with a legal consequence. The suspect was arrested and booked on two assault charges and one malicious mischief charge.
Here's the video of the action which was posted on Twitter by ABC. This is certainly one of the more weird crime videos we have seen this week.
