Man Sues Parents For Destroying His Porn Collection Worth $29,000

"Charlie don't surf" was the title of one of The Clash's songs from 80s. Yet, this particular Charlie surfed a lot in his life, mostly for... porn.

This 40 year old white male from Michigan (not even Asian "Charlie", like from "Apocalypse Now" movie or The Clash's song) got divorced recently and had to move back to live with his parents. Such moves can be truly disastrous both for 40 years old "kids" and their parents, and this story is the best example for it. Leaving his wife and previous life, this dude brought back home (his parents' home, to be exact) some huge collection of porn. DVDs, VHS (who even watch this stuff these days?), porn magazines and so on. When his parents discovered it, they had no other choice, then to get rid of it. "I would have done the same if I had found a kilo of crack cocaine" – said his father, preoccupied a lot by his son's mental and emotional health.

But his 40 year old "kid" struck back, and very fast. He basically sued his parents for a "huge damage" that they did to his belongings and personal life. He claims that his porn collection was worth almost 30 thousand dollars.

Among movies removed by his parents, were such marvelous titles as "Lesbians In Tight Shorts" or "University Coeds 25". But his collection didn't end with movies – there were also dozens of sex toys there, just to spice things up a little bit. Some of the movies that his guy lost were "not in distribution anymore and almost impossible to get these days", like he claims himself.

Judges these days surely have hands full of work... What is your opinion on this? Was the guy somehow right or rather is he some pathological case ("no wonder that he divorced", someone may say). Speak up your mind!
