Marianne Williamson hints at $200 to $500 billion in reparations

Democratic 2020 hopeful Marianne Williamson discussed reparations for slavery and hinted at offering the country $200 to $500 billion in reparations to people whose ancestors were enslaved. This video was taken from the Democrat Debates part 2.

CNN posted on Twitter, ""It's... payment of a debt that is owed. That is what reparations is."

Author Marianne Williamson earned applause and cheers when she mounted a defense of her plan to offer $200 billion to $500 billion in reparations to the descendants of enslaved Africans in the US" and included the video of her making this bold statement about reparations payments for slavery.

Democrats have made reparations a talking point leading up to 2020's election. Cory Booker and Elizabeth Warren have discussed reparations. Kamala Harris family owned slaves, which was stated by her own father.

It should be noted that slavery ended about 150 years ago and there are no current living slaves or slave owners.
