Melania Trump makes little girl's 'dream come true' at annual Toys for Tots event

Melania Trump brought the Christmas spirit out in full force when she made a little girl's dream come true at the Toys for Tots event at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, just a bit outside Washington D.C.

The United States Marine Corps Reserve hosts the toy drive each year and the first lady is a regular guest.

Melania showed up, gave a short statement and hello, and was off and about her business spending time with the people at the event. Part of the day involved kids putting toys in boxes that will be delivered to children in need to give them something for Christmas.

This is when Melania Trump helped a girl who seemed to be a little bit confused. She is just 7-years-old and her name is Jackie Rodriguez. They had a good chat and First Lady Trump helped her sort the toys and then took her over to another table where they would write some Christmas Cards.

It was like they were friends all along as Mrs. Trump spent at least 20 minutes with the child, helping her and just being a motherly figure to everyone around the table.

Daily Caller's exclusive article stated:

Melania’s motherly instinct kicked in as she spent over 20 minutes helping Rodriguez color her card, sharing tips and notes with her. Rodriguez was clearly thrilled. Speaking with The Daily Caller after the event, Rodriguez’s parents, Navy Captain Jose Rodriguez and Nancy Rodriguez, said it was a “dream come true for little Jackie.”
“She has been waiting for this day,” Nancy said, tears in her eyes. “She has been talking non-stop about meeting Mrs. Trump. This is her Christmas dream come true.” Mr. Rodriguez, a decorated military man, said he “was stunned and amazed” watching the “unexpected attention” the first lady paid to his daughter.
A crying Jackie stood beneath us, clutching a drawing and wiping tears from her eyes. “She’s crying because the Mrs. Trump is gone,” Nancy explained. Nancy asked Jackie to spin around her treasured drawing she was holding tight. She noted that as a parting gift, Melania had given her daughter the drawing she had made.

To top it off, First Lady Melania Trump also donated an extra 100 books to the Toys for Tots literacy program.

Of course, you may not see this in the mainstream media, but please share it to show how nice our first lady is.

We need as much good news as possible!!
