Michelle Obama says Melania Trump hasn't reached out for advice on being first lady
Michelle Obama says that Melania Trump has not reached out to her for any advice on how to be the first lady.
Former first lady Michelle Obama was being interviewed by ABC's Robin Roberts and they spoke for about an hour. One of the questions that Roberts presented was if Melania Trump, the current first lady, has ever reached out to Obama for advice on being the first lady.
The answer was, "no, no she hasn't."
Michelle Obama had told Melania, when the Trump's took over the White House, that she could offer advice if she ever needed it. Maybe Melania didn't need it? Maybe Melania didn't want it. That part is unclear.
Roberts pointed out that Laura Bush reached out to Michelle Obama and said "If you need any help, I'm a phone call away."
On the contrary, they do not seem to address if Michelle Obama had ever called Laura Bush. Did she? I don't know.
Why does she have to? That suggests she can't do things on her own, kinda undermining to independent women, don't you think?— Frank the Tank (@TrendingViews1) November 13, 2018
The question many might have is this: why does Melania Trump have to call Michelle Obama? If she does, or does not, does it matter?
