Michelle Obama says she'll 'never forgive' Trump for rumors about Barack's birth certificate
Michelle Obama says, in her new memoir, that she'll "never forgive" President Trump for spreading rumors that question the legitimacy of President Obama's American birth certificate.
Former first lady Michelle Obama's new memoir, titled 'Becoming,' talks about how she will "never forgive" President Donald Trump for the rumors he spread that talked about Barack Obama's birth certificate. She claims that the rumors put her family in danger and threatened their safety. It's very clear that she does not like Donald Trump.
"What if someone with an unstable mind loaded a gun and drove to Washington? What if that person went looking for our girls?," she wrote, according to the Post, which obtained an early copy of the book. It will be released next Tuesday. "Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family's safety at risk. And for this I'd never forgive him."
It didn't take President Trump very long to respond to Obama's new book and her commentary about him. He told reporters, according to an article on CNN, that "she got paid a lot of money to write a book and they always expect a little controversy."
Trump then stated that he would not forgive her husband, Barack Obama, "for what he did to our US military. "I'll never forgive him for what he did in many other ways... "What he did to our military made this country very unsafe for you, and you, and you."
Obama wrote in her book that the so-called "birther" movement was "crazy and mean-spirited, of course, its underlying bigotry and xenophobia hardly concealed. But it was also dangerous, deliberately meant to stir up the wingnuts and kooks."
Obama also recounts how her "body buzzed with fury" after hearing Trump's candid lewd comments about grabbing women.
"It was an expression of hatred that had generally been kept out of polite company, but still lived in the marrow of our supposedly enlightened society — alive and accepted enough that someone like Donald Trump could afford to be cavalier about it," she writes, according to the Post.
It looks like the ongoing feud between Donald Trump and the Obama family will continue.
