Vice President Mike Pence brought some veterans to the Super Bowl as his guests. That's an awesome thing to do.

So glad he didn't bring anyone from the Women's March. That would've been disgusting!

Marine Staff Sgt. Anthony Mannino, Jr., who was wounded in Iraq in 2008, and Army Staff Sgt. Frederick Manning, who was injured in Afghanistan last year, met the Vice President shortly after noon boarded Air Force Two for the short trip to the stadium.

Both veterans also invited guests to join them, Mannino invited his wife Dian, while Manning still recovering from his wounds brought his nurse from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

When asked which team each was rooting for, the answer was evenly split, Mannino picked the New England Patriots, while Manning was rooting for the Atlanta Falcons.

Good job VP! It's nice to see people honor our veterans. I was really happy that they rolled out George Bush and his wife on Chair Force One to the coin toss.

Many younger people don't know the ol' George Bush was shot down in a plane during WWII.

Pretty crazy isn't it!

I think we need to bring back the days of only letting military experienced people run the country. If you're willing to give your life as a soldier, then you've earned more than enough respect to get my vote...unless you love taxing everything, then I probably won't like you.

Super Bowl LI was the best in a long time, mostly because Beyonce wasn't there with her sh*tty music.... read more
