In an expected series of ridiculous law suits, the United States Government and North Carolina have traded law suits over NCHB2. North Carolina wants to keep grown men out of the women's room and the government is trying to say that the law discriminates.
The NCHB2 law requires people to use the bathroom based upon the sex that they were biologically born with, not the one they "identify" with. I agree with the HCHB2 law and believe that grown men do not need belong a women's room. A person should always use the bathroom that is dictated by the anatomy in their pants.
If a grown man identifies with being a woman and is comfortable wearing women's clothes, then they should be comfortable walking in the men's room wearing the women's clothes. If they cannot use the correct bathroom, no matter what clothes they're wearing, then I don't think they're really that comfortable. And before the liberals and democrats jump into the comment section, let's once again identify the fact that keeping the NCHB2 laws in tact protects many young female victims from suffering horrendous crimes.
It's NOT the transgender men that anyone is worried about. We know that transgendered men are not the problem. The real problem comes from the loser guys who pretend to be transgendered in order to commit a crime.
There's been numerous crimes that have already happened in gender neutral bathrooms. People are being victims of peeping toms and are being videotaped while in the bathroom, showers, locker rooms, etc - all by guys pretending to be female or transgender. We need to keep these laws in place all across the country because there's a lot more real women out there who are prone to be victims than there are transgender men. We need to please the majority, which is women.
There's a lot more real women than there are transgendered guys. We need to protect our women and kids from the perverted criminals who would use this to their advantage. It's sick, I know, but we cannot allow grown men into the bathroom with women and kids. That opens the door for too many terrifying criminal acts. Ted Cruz has provided input about this that people like Caitlyn Jenner might be upset about. There's also tons of backlash from the public in regards to having gender neutral bathrooms. Over a million people have signed a petition to boycott Target over the transgender bathroom issue.
CNN provides more information on the legal battle.
The U.S. government filed a lawsuit Monday against North Carolina saying that state entities were in violation of provisions in Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, Title IX the Education Acts Amendment of 1972 and the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act that outlaw discrimination on the basis of sex. The lawsuit comes hours after Gov. Pat McCrory sued the Justice Department, asking a federal court to rule whether the state's so-called bathroom bill violated U.S. law.
The act bans individuals from using public bathrooms that do not correspond with their biological sex, as dictated by their birth certificates.
