Neil Young is not a happy musician right now and he's just penned a nasty open letter to President Donald Trump, starting off with "you are a disgrace to my country."
We've heard of solid bands opening up for the main act, but this was Young's opening sentence for his very angry letter to the president.
Young also was an Obama lover, stating:
“Your mindless destruction of our shared natural resources, our environment, and our relationships with friends around the world is unforgivable.… Our first black president was a better man than you are.”
Add some more sauce to the nuggets and you'll see Young is not happy that Trump once in a while might play the song "Rockin' in the Free World" at a rally event.
He’s particularly irked by Trump’s usage of his song “Rockin’ in the Free World” at his rallies. Young has asked him to stop this practice numerous times while acknowledging he has no legal recourse to force him. “[It] is not a song you can trot out at one of your rallies,” he writes. “Perhaps you could have been a bass player and played in a rock & roll band. That way you could have been onstage at a rally every night in front of your fans, if you were any good, and you might be …”

“Every time ‘Rockin’ in the Free World’ or one of my songs is played at your rallies,” he continues, “I hope you hear my voice. Remember it is the voice of a tax-paying U.S. citizen who does not support you. Me.”
Is it just me or does Neil Young seem very angry for a guy who is probably very wealthy and living his best life all thanks to his musical talent and that thing called capitalism. You know, there sure are a lot of miserable, wealthy, angry celebrities out there who can live their life without a single worry in the world, but choose not to.
Think about it - if you're a millionaire celebrity, do you even care to vote or worry about politics? Why would you? Everything you want is at your fingertips no matter who the president is. Rich people don't need to vote because nothing that happens will truly make any drastic impact on their life.
Despite all the anger coming from rocker Neil Young, let's remember one thing - Neil Young was born in Toronto, Canada, and he just became an American citizen this year. If America was so bad under Trump, then why go through all the hoopla to become an American? Oh, so he can vote against Trump.
Technically speaking, when Neil Young says that Trump is a disgrace to his country, well it's only been his country for about a month or so. There are toddlers who have been Americans longer than Neil Young and they're not complaining.
Is that what Democrats are doing now? They're importing people from Canada to become citizens to vote against Trump because they don't have enough electoral Americans to win on their own?
Of course, that's nothing but sarcastic speculation, but let's be frank here - none of us would be shocked if that were true.
