Anthony Sevy was trying to pay a $10 parking ticket in Michigan wasn't happy that he would be responsible for a $1.75 service charge on his credit card. He decided to pay in cash instead, so he left to retrieve the cash. Sevy returned with rolls of pennies prepared to pay the full amount of the ticket, but he was declined. He was not allowed to pay his ticket with the rolls of pennies. Then somehow a guard gets involved and Sevy is choked by the guard. Then all bowels break loose and Sevy defecates in his pants.
Now there's a lawsuit involved. His attorney, Jonathan Marco, was quoted saying "I don't think that in everyday course of business, we poop our pants or go around defecating ourselves... He wasn't happy about it so, in symbolic protest, he brought back penny rolls to pay for his ticket. The clerk wasn't too happy about that, they refused to allow him to pay with penny rolls."
This is where it gets sketchy. Sevy is exiting the building and there's a guard following behind him. The guard begins choking Sevy and Sevy eventually passed out and was on the floor. He then defecated in his pants, was arrested, and placed in jail. Sevy was on his way out, so there's no reason the guard should've touched him. If we back up further, the place should've accepted Sevy's payment in pennies and be happy that someone actually pays their tickets.
Sevy's lawyer, Marco, said "I don't think anyone paying in penny rolls, whether it's a preferred thing to do for a court clerk, warrants this type of this assaultive behavior and violation of constitutional rights."
