Famous rapper 50 Cent just took Joe Biden to the "Candy Shop" and endorsed President Donald Trump for the 2020 election after seeing some possible tax plans from candidate Joe Biden, and of course, it was done on social media, because where else would such a thing happen?
50 Cent posted a photo on Instagram showing Biden's tax proposal that would tax New York City residents 62% if they made over $400,000, based on this report on a hip hop website. It seems like 50 Cent either makes that much money each year or he's just really, really against the possibility of someone being taxed that high.
50 Cent posted this caption to go with his photo: "WHAT THE FUCK! (VOTE ForTRUMP) IM OUT, ???????????FUCK NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. ???????????I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62% are you out of ya fucking miiind."

Now for me, I don't actually care what people are taxed at if they're making $400,000 per year because I am nowhere close to that and probably will not ever be making that much money per year in a million years.
However, that is an absolutely ridiculous rate to tax anyone, EVER. Millionaires should be taxed maybe 20% tops and leave it at that. Scale it down to 10% for people who make under $400,000, and then see how things are going. Maybe if the tax rate is lower for everyone, then we can close up all the loopholes and tricks and people can just file their taxes, pay their acceptable rate, and most people would be happy.
But for Biden or anyone else to target people with a tax rate that even SMELLS like 62%, they are not going to make a lot of hardworking people happy. The people who make that money probably won't vote for him. The people who think that high of a tax rate is absurd, out of principal, probably won't vote for him either.

Then there's guys like me who are sitting here like "how many rap songs do I need to make that kinda coin?"
But the point of the story is this - a rich black dude is trashing Democrat Joe Biden and supporting Trump in the next election over taxes. If you hit people in their pockets, they will respond accordingly, and that's what just happened with 50 Cent.
Also, under Joe Biden's proposed tax plan, rapper 50 Cent might be known as 26 Cent.

The photo of 50 Cent on a horse has absolutely nothing to do with this story, but it was on his Instagram page and I thought it was hilarious. He looks kinda scared riding that horse!
