Rep introduces resolution to remove Nancy Pelosi from House

Mitch McConnell is planning to go head to head with Nancy Pelosi in this raging impeachment fight. And Representative Ralph Abraham’s plan may be the key.

The Louisiana Republican congressman just introduced a resolution that may work in expelling Speaker Nancy Pelosi from the House of Representatives. Representative Ralph Abraham's resolution has a chance of passing. Abraham stated that:

"Nancy Pelosi's vicious crusade against our lawfully-elected President is nothing more than a politically-motivated witch hunt and it must be stopped. She has disgraced the people’s House and weaponized the Speaker’s gavel for her party’s political gain.”

He added:

“House Democrats spent nearly three years obsessed with election meddling only to dwarf any such efforts with their own deceitful plan to nullify the 2016 election and prevent President Trump from winning in 2020. I have introduced a resolution calling for her to be expelled from the House and for the Speaker’s Office to be vacated.”

The details of this resolution are kept tight. Abraham’s office is expecting to gain traction despite not securing many cosponsors from its party.

This strategy will cause Democrats to push the impeachment probe forward but the GOP will risk it. Lawmakers seek to gather ammunition and use it in the impeachment trial.
