It seems like the stress of falling behind Joe Biden and watching his dream of becoming president slip by again is proving too much for Sen. Bernie Sanders.
Manu Raju, a senior political correspondent for CNN, said in a tweet he asked the presidential contender if he had a timeframe for making a decision about whether to remain in the race after getting trounced again by Biden on Tuesday.
"I'm dealing with a f***ing global crisis. You know, we're dealing with," Sanders reportedly said, according to Raju.
Raju said he reminded Sanders that he's running for president, and a viral outbreak is something he may have to deal with someday if he wins the Oval Office.
"Well right now, right now I'm trying to do my best to make sure that we don't have an economic meltdown and that people don't die. Is that enough for you to keep me busy for today?" Sanders reportedly said, according to Raju.
