Stranger Things 3 Release Date Confirmed and other details
Stranger Things is one of the highest rated TV shows in the past decade, so no one was surprised when season three was announced. Almost two years after season two was released, Netflix announced that the premiere of the Stranger Things three will come on July 4th, 2019.
Traditionally, the whole season is released at once, so dedicated viewers will be able able to watch it in a single day. Since July 4th is also the Independence day in the United States, American fans of the show will have time to do that.
Season three was delayed a few times, but people from Netflix claimed that it was necessary. The stakes are high, but creators The Duffer Brothers and Shawn Levy as the producer think this will be the best season yet.
The core cast is back and includes Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Winona Ryder (Joyce), Natalia Dyer (Nancy), Finn Wolfhard (Mike) or Charlie Heaton (Jonathan). There will be new characters too, including a daughter of Ethan Hawk and Uma Thurman, Maya Thurman-Hawke.
Not much is known about her role other that it will be important and will uncover dark secrets. We can also expect more screen time for Lucas' sisters Erica (Priah Ferguson) who will have an unusual rescue mission.

The season will take in 1985, which was expected, as the previous were set in 1983 and 1984. This time there will be only eight episodes. Events are developing during the turbulent summer as Hawkins crew are growing up while at the same time struggling to stay together.
Since the new and old enemies are coming to the town, they'll need to work as a team if they want to survive. Netflix is still not talking about the future of Stranger Things, but the cast is eager to do at least one more season.
