16-year-old Deonte Green was arrested on Sunday, October 1st, after a crime spree that left him being faced with more than 17 charges.  The Tulsa teenager is accused of crimes tallying: 1 murder, 6 robberies, 3 burglaries, 3 gun related charges, rape, kidnapping, sexual assault and attempted animal cruelty. Most of his crimes are potentially against the elderly. Police are still investigating Green's crime spree and it could be a lengthy investigation as his alleged crimes where so random and numerous.

What we do know is that around mid-day the alleged perpetrator approached an elderly couple.  They say he forced them to an ATM where the man withdrew funds.  It was at this time that Green allegedly sexually harassed and assaulted the elderly woman before eventually returning to the couple's house with them and raping the woman before making off with the money from the ATM and a pistol.

Police say this is when Green fled the house on foot and less than a half hour later he stopped two women who where leaving their house near 71st and Mingo when Green reportedly pushed them back inside of their house.  It is not clear what his intentions were initially, but based on the other alleged crimes that took place it very well could be speculated sexual assault and robbery.  Thus husband of the woman, Shane Anderson, a teacher at Broken Arrow public school, came downstairs to see what was going on.  When he saw the perpetrator he confronted him, resulting in a struggle.  During this struggle Anderson was shot and he died at the residence hours later.

Policemen who had been heavily patrolling the area searching for Green located and arrested him fleeing near a robbery he reportedly pulled off at the 8300 block of East 71st Street where police say he had robbed a couple.

Authorities say that Green was part of a group of teens who are reported to have been committing a rash of car thefts and burglaries in the area.

Green is alleged to have also committed various crimes in the days preceding this spree, almost all of the crimes in the same area and generally committed against the elderly.  The allegations include car theft of a 64-year-old man's vehicle, robber of a 43-year-old man, a home invasion of an 86-year-old man and a 78-year-old woman, armed robbery of a Dominos, Taco Bell, and a random woman who was in her driveway and even a home invasion.

The burglaries department of the local police are continuing their investigations into a slew of other crimes they believe were committed by Green.

The community is left with their heads spinning as they try to make sense of this all, but these were senseless crimes and it may take a while to come to grips with such and in-depth crime spree.  The things that Green allegedly did sounds like a marathon GTA 5 game session - unreal and over-the-top.

Green is being held at the Tulsa Jail.
