Teens attack man outside DC hotel, Cops looking for 14 possible suspects

Cops have their hands full as they're looking for 14 persons of interest when a group of teens attacked a man outside of the Washington Hilton Hotel this month, based on information from the D.C. police and a report on NBC Washington.

It's unclear what the motive for the attack was, but a witness states that him and the man were going towards the hotel, on foot, at 1 a.m. in the morning when a group of teenagers were nearby. One of the teens yelled "that's him" and the attack ensued after a verbal exchange. It's unclear what words were exchanged.

The victim was beaten by the group of teens which includes about 10 boys and girls, but another report says police are looking for 14 persons of interest.

As stated on NBC Washington, "surveillance video shows one of the boys initiate the assault with a punch that caused the man to stagger and back up before the rest of the group joined in. As the group begins to disperse, a couple of people are seen in the video kicking and stomping on the man while he was down."
