Tiger Woods arrested on suspicion of DUI
Tiger Woods was arrested on suspicion of DUI. He later released a statement that blamed a mixture of prescription drugs. He looks like a hot mess and his hair is quite scraggly in the Tiger Woods mugshot.
Tiger Woods was arrested in Florida on suspicion of driving under the influence early Monday morning.
Woods was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Monday at 7:18 a.m. ET after he was arrested by police in Jupiter, Fla. Woods, who owns a home on Jupiter Island, was released on his own recognizance at 10:50 a.m.
The arrest occurred about 3 a.m. during a traffic stop off Military Trail, just south of Indian Creek Parkway, according to Jupiter police spokesperson Kristin Rightler.
Rightler said she didn't know where Woods was coming from or going to in the vehicle and that the arrest report should be available Tuesday. No further information was available Monday afternoon from the Jupiter Police Department.
Tiger Woods made the golf game relevant to a much bigger audience. He brought new levels of excitement and mass amounts of fans to the game. If it wasn't for Tiger Woods, then the golf game could suffer through horribly low ratings and viewership. He was the spark that took the game to another level of fandom.
Then Tiger Woods life began to spiral down. Trouble with his wife and an addiction to sex, then he had trouble with his back, and now here he is getting arrested in Florida.
He went from the top to the bottom of the barrel. Only Tiger can pull himself out of this mess. I hope he eventually can golf at a decent level again. It's quite sad to watch one of the greatest golfers of all time turn into this.
Drake's song talks about starting from the bottom now we're here, but this is getting to the top and falling miserably to the bottom.
