Trump cancels G20 press conference 'out of respect' for President George H.W. Bush

Trump planned to speak at the G-20 summit press conference but has canceled his appearance and left to return to America to pay respects for former President George H.W. Bush who passed away on Friday at the age of 94.

Trump stated on Twitter, "I was very much looking forward to having a press conference just prior to leaving Argentina because we have had such great success in our dealing with various countries and their leaders at the G20," Mr. Trump said in the first of two tweets. "However, out of respect for the Bush Family and former President George H.W. Bush we will wait until after the funeral to have a press conference."

Trump and his wife Melania plan to attend services for Bush at the National Cathedral in Washington D.C. Services are scheduled for next week.

Some speculate Trump didn't want to be there in the first place because he would have to address questions about his alleged relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin and whatever special counsel has dug up on alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Although, to contrast that, Trump doesn't have to be in Argentia at a press conference to answer questions about that when there are plenty of reporters in America who will ask him the same questions, such as Jim Acosta.

Much respect to the Bush family during their time of loss.
