Trump says Baltimore district is 'disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess' worse than the border

President Donald Trump attacked Democrat Rep Elijah Cummings Baltimore district and said it's worse than the southern border. Trump was ranting about Cummings on Twitter and then went after the city Cummings represents, which is Baltimore.

Trump said, "Rep. Elijah Cummings has been a brutal bully, shouting and screaming at the great men & women of Border Patrol at the Southern Border, when actually his Baltimore district is FAR WORSE and more dangerous."

Trump also stated that conditions on the border were very crowded, but they were also clean and efficient. Trump compared it to Cummings' district saying it was "a disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess."

It's safe to say that Trump and Cummings do not get along.

It gets better. Cummings responded.

As per a report on USA Today, by Nicholas Wu, Cummings wrote on Twitter, "Mr. President, I go home to my district daily. Each morning, I wake up, and I go and fight for my neighbors," Cummings said. "It is my constitutional duty to conduct oversight of the Executive Branch. But, it is my moral duty to fight for my constituents. Two years ago, I went to the White House to ask you to endorse my bill to let the government negotiate directly for lower drug prices. You told me then that you supported the legislation and that you would work with me to make it happen. I took you at your word."

Trump trashed the Baltimore district and Cummings is asking Trump to get lower prices on prescription drugs.

Seems like they're having quite a weird conversation.
