Trump Unloads On Paul Ryan, 'Couldn’t get him out of Congress fast enough!'

President Donald Trump went on a late night Tweetstorm attacking Paul Ryan and throwing some major shade at the guy. This is a result of the former Speaker of the House going after Trump in his book. Ryan said Trump didn't know "anything about government" and that set Trump off on the retaliation.

Paul Ryan's comments were heard on CNN on Tim Alberta's "American Carnage" and they talked about how the Republicans have allegedly changed ever since Trump became president. After the commentary on the show, that's when Trump went off on his multi-Tweet insults about Paul Ryan, as per a report on USA Today.

Trump said:

Paul Ryan, the failed V.P. candidate & former Speaker of the House, whose record of achievement was atrocious (except during my first two years as President), ultimately became a long running lame duck failure, leaving his Party in the lurch both as a fundraiser & leader......

....When Mitt chose Paul I told people that’s the end of that Presidential run. He quit Congress because he didn’t know how to Win. They gave me standing O’s in the Great State of Wisconsin, & booed him off the stage. He promised me the Wall, & failed (happening anyway!)......

....He had the Majority & blew it away with his poor leadership and bad timing. Never knew how to go after the Dems like they go after us. Couldn’t get him out of Congress fast enough!

Paul Ryan's book is called 'This is as bad as it gets': Book 'American Carnage' and it discussed many details regarding himself and Reince Priebus relationship with Trump

USA Today stated that "Ryan reportedly told Alberta he couldn't stand another two years with Trump and called retirement an "escape hatch," according to excerpts obtained by The Washington Post.

Trump also said Mitt Romney's bid for president in 2012 was doomed after he chose Ryan as his running mate. Trump further criticized Ryan for failing to secure funding for a U.S.-Mexico border wall."
