In another day of political drama and people getting paid way too much money to do what appears to be, well, nothing at all. We now have a beef between that geek Bill Gates and Rep. Hinson who does not seem interested in having a fake beef steak.

So here's what happened, and I know you've got the popcorn ready for this one. Maybe by the end of today we can all go spirit cooking with some fake beef meat. And in the summertime, that would be spirit grilling, right?

Bill Gates suggested that rich countries switch to 100% synthetic beef. Here's what Bill Gates ACKSHUALLY said from his goofy interview:

Q: Do you think plant-based and lab-grown meats could be the full solution to the protein problem globally, even in poor nations? Or do you think it’s going to be some fraction because of the things you’re talking about, the cultural love of a hamburger and the way livestock is so central to economies around the world?

A: For Africa and other poor countries, we’ll have to use animal genetics to dramatically raise the amount of beef per emissions for them. Weirdly, the US livestock, because they’re so productive, the emissions per pound of beef are dramatically less than emissions per pound in Africa. And as part of the [Bill and Melinda Gates] Foundation’s work, we’re taking the benefit of the African livestock, which means they can survive in heat, and crossing in the monstrous productivity both on the meat side and the milk side of the elite US beef lines.

So no, I don’t think the poorest 80 countries will be eating synthetic meat. I do think all rich countries should move to 100% synthetic beef. You can get used to the taste difference, and the claim is they’re going to make it taste even better over time. Eventually, that green premium is modest enough that you can sort of change the [behavior of] people or use regulation to totally shift the demand.

So for meat in the middle-income-and-above countries, I do think it’s possible. But it’s one of those ones where, wow, you have to track it every year and see, and the politics [are challenging]. There are all these bills that say it’s got to be called, basically, lab garbage to be sold. They don’t want us to use the beef label.

And here's what six-figure-salary politicians are saying in response:

Rep Ashley Hinson said this, "Billionaire liberal elitists like Bill Gates want Americans to eat 100% synthetic beef. Not going to happen. Sign my petition and tell the Democrats HANDS OFF OUR BEEF!" She followed with a video.

WATCH Rep. Hinson's response:

This is what Rep. Hinson does with her time? We literally do not need a petition for this nonsense. America will never become one of those fake meat countries when we have such a desire for some juicy red steaks. We already have numerous meat alternative products in the economy and people can eat whatever they want.

This is literally not even a discussion we need to have. It was Bill's wacky suggestion, not a rule that all cows are going on strike and no longer providing beef. We are still going to be grilling those hot steaks all summer.

If you're eating synthetic beef, then good for you. If you like steak, then good for you too.

Do you really think the entire country is giving up hamburgers for some fake meat? There will be some people who give in, but the majority of us probably will not. I would try it out of sheer curiosity, but nothing replaces the real thing.

Fake meat is like having a blow up doll - it might satisfy the hunger, but it sure ain't the real thing.... and I may not tell my friends about either of them.

And now for Boebert.... my goodness, what do we do about her?

Come and take it? You cook it medium rare and I'll be right over with my own fork. Let me know when her husband isn't home and she's cooking me dinner. That's when I'll come and take it.

Is there an amendment on steaks? Are we going to make a flag with a steak that says "don't grill on me."

I have one favor to ask from the politicians on Twitter wasting time with stupid stuff.

Can you sign off and go to WORK?

Can you get off the Internet and go lower taxes somewhere?

These people are paid what, like $174,000 per year, then they suck up constituent money through donations, and what exactly do they do besides sit on Twitter all day?

Bill Gates is a complete bizarro-land DORK and Windows Vista was the worse than smelling a homeless person's taint, but that's what he is. He's a rich dork and his little chat about fake meat ain't going anywhere.

I want Boebert and Hinson to work on lowering taxes for their constituents and leave the fight for eating rare steaks up to guys like me.

It's a man's job anyway, and I bet ten bucks neither of three people mentioned in this article can even cook a good steak to begin with.

If they could, Boebert would've proved it by not using what appears to be a stock photo.
