ATL Mayor Bottoms says people may be 'keeping their dollars out of this state' after recent GA law

Atlanta Mayor Keisha Bottoms says, "It's a horrible example for the rest of the country and people are going to show us exactly how they feel by keeping their dollars out of this state."

Gubernatorial loser Stacey Abrams was big mad too. She didn't like that the MLB moved the All-Star game out of Atlanta, because it's a huge loss of revenue for them - but she still defended the move politically. And of course she did, because she's just as dumb as the MLB who should have never moved the All-Star game in the first place. Sports should not ever be mixed with politics and we are absolutely sick of them getting into it. It's annoying and we don't want politics RUINING sports.

From the real news:

Georgia voting rights activist and former gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams on Friday said that while she is “disappointed,” by Major League Baseball’s move to relocate its 2021 All-Star Game from Atlanta, she praised the league for “speaking out” on the state’s new controversial voting law.

Abrams, a former Georgia state representative, wrote in a statement shared on Twitter that “others in positions of leadership” should join the MLB in condemning the law, which includes several voting restrictions such as requiring photo ID to vote by mail and limiting access to ballot drop boxes.

“Like many Georgians, I am disappointed that the MLB is relocating the All-Star game; however, I commend the players, owners and the League commissioner for speaking out,” Abrams wrote.

“As I have stated, I respect boycotts, although I don’t want to see Georgia families hurt by lost events and jobs,” she continued. “Georgians targeted by voter suppression will be hurt as opportunities go to other states.”

Shut up, Stacey. Next time use your voice to tell the MLB how stupid they are, just like millions of us with smaller voices have done. She's got a big platform and didn't use it correctly. She has a big everything else too, but that's besides the point.
