Bill Maher scolds Sen. Elizabeth Warren after her promise to have a secretary of education approved by a transgender child. Her words were "I'm going to have a secretary of education that this young trans person interviews on my behalf, and only if this person believes that our secretary or secretary of education nominee is absolutely committed to creating a welcoming environment. A safe environment, and a full educational curriculum for everyone will that person actually be advanced to be secretary of education."
According to the Washington Examiner, the young trans she is referring to is a 9-year-old transgender boy that she spoke to last October during a CNN presidential candidate forum.
In his HBO show, Maher categorizes Warren's statement as "crazy stuff." He proceeded to scold the Democratic Presidential hopeful, saying "Now, Obama said people just don't want crazy stuff. Is this not crazy stuff? Is she running for president of Berkeley?"
The Washington Examiner published a poll that shows Warren's poll numbers going downhill.
She is currently in fourth place, just behind Joe Biden, Sen. Bernie Sanders and Michael Bloomberg.
