Dr. Oz joined "Fox & Friends" on Sunday morning to discuss the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, and offered some calming, reassuring words.
Noting that President Trump shouldn't have been tested for the virus because he did not fit the criteria and because there aren't enough tests as it is, the famous TV doc nevertheless noted that COVID-19, as it is formally known, has been around in the U.S. for a while now.
"I am positive that I know people who were infected but didn’t realize it because it happened before coronavirus is here," he said.
"There is someone I know who was actually at a party at the Oscars with the cast members of 'Parasite,' a Korean movie who got fevers, shortness of breath, fatigue. I have no idea if he had coronavirus or not. But he thinks he did," Dr. Oz continued.
"Now you hear these stories and you are like this has been around," he said, adding that 80 percent of people who catch coronavirus have very mild symptoms.Source: foxnews
