Florida's Republican Governor, Ron DeSantis, gets asked if he will, or has, taken the vaccine and gives an answer that gets him a little round of applause. DeSantis responded by saying, "I’m willing to take it but I’m not the priority... Granted I’m an elected official but whoop dee doo. At the end of the day, let’s focus on where the risk is" and he stated that his parents and grandparents should be the first to get it - implying that people who are of that particular age group, like 65 and older, should be the first priority when it comes to administering the shot. This would be good, because that's likely the most vulnerable crowd, so protecting them first seems to be his goal.
