Malcom Jenkins slammed Drew Brees controversy, but suggests DeSean Jackson's Louis Farrakhan quote is a distraction

July 10, 2020 / 1.4K views

Here's another athlete I cannot take seriously ever again. Malcolm Jenkins made a big stink over the Drew Brees controversy where he supported the flag. What Drew Brees said wasn't even a big deal and he apologized left and right for it.

Now we have DeSean Jackson out here posting about anti-Semitic Louis Farrakhan and Malcolm Jenkins suggests it's not much more than a distraction from other problems. Jenkins downplays it while he was basically crying over what Drew Brees said.

And you know what's funny? Jenkins is a former Eagles star who's signed with the Saints now. Now he's literally playing on Brees' team, scolded the guy, but refuses to give Jackson the same treatment.

Jenkins did suggest that Jackson's comments were bad, but by also suggesting they're a distraction is the big problem.

If anything, Jackson's comments were worse, in my opinion.

As a guy from Philly and a big Eagles fan, it pains me to say this, but DeSean Jackson is a scumbag and no athlete should be posting about Louis Farrakhan unless it's to say that he's a detriment to society.

If the Eagles cut Jackson, then fine by me. The WR can't stay healthy for more than a game and a half anyway.
