MSNBC host asks Pastor to pray on live TV - 'I've never actually done this'

April 1, 2020 / 1.8K views

In a move that came to surprise many viewers, MSNBC host Craig Melvin asked Bishop T.D. Jakes to lead a short prayer for those who cannot get to church amid all the closings. This is not something you normally see on MSNBC, or many other networks for that matter, unless it's a show dedicated to prayer and church.

Jakes is the founder and senior pastor at The Potter's House Church and here he is giving us a short prayer for the entire nation as we stick together at a time in need.

Think whatever you want about this video, but remember this - we need to support each other and take this thing serious. Once it settles, then we will happily return to our normal lives and get back on track.

We are resilient!
