MLB has now officially moved the all-star game from Atlanta to Denver because of the Georgia voting law that requires absentee mail voters to provide ID. It should also be known that Denver is more white than Atlanta and Denver also requires ID to vote.
So basically, the MLB pulled a liberal move to be "woke" and get into politics, and has now moved their coveted all-star game to a less diverse city who still needs ID to vote. Pretty stupid, right?
According to DataUSA, this is what Denver has: "The 5 largest ethnic groups in Denver, CO are White (Non-Hispanic) (54.3%), White (Hispanic) (21.7%), Black or African American (Non-Hispanic) (8.48%), Other (Hispanic) (5.85%), and Asian (Non-Hispanic) (3.68%). NaNk% of the people in Denver, CO speak a non-English language, and 91.9% are U.S. citizens."Sponsored
According to DataUSA, this is what Atlanta has: "The 5 largest ethnic groups in Atlanta, GA are Black or African American (Non-Hispanic) (50.7%), White (Non-Hispanic) (38%), Asian (Non-Hispanic) (3.99%), White (Hispanic) (2.87%), and Two+ (Non-Hispanic) (2.32%). NaNk% of the people in Atlanta, GA speak a non-English language, and 95.4% are U.S. citizens."
How does the MLB move the all-star game from a more diverse city to Denver in the name of being "woke" and being mad about some law that says you need ID to vote? Is this not the stupidest thing you've seen all year with sports?
For more stats on the diversity of Atlanta and Denver, you can check the information at Census.gov and type in each city to see their latest statistics. The most recent stats they provide may provide a bigger or smaller difference, as these numbers are constantly updating. However, it appears Denver clearly has a higher percentage of white folks living there.
